Program Description
The Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Provider (CPDTP) program is an advanced professional training designed for clinicians, counselors, and mental health professionals seeking specialized knowledge and competency in identifying, assessing, and treating personality disorders. This evidence-based certification integrates current research, clinical frameworks, and psychotherapeutic best practices across modalities, including CBT, DBT, Schema Therapy, and psychodynamic approaches.
Participants will develop advanced clinical skills to manage the complexities of personality disorder presentations—such as emotional dysregulation, interpersonal dysfunction, trauma histories, and comorbidity—while maintaining therapeutic alliance and treatment boundaries.
This program provides a comprehensive understanding of the DSM-5-TR personality disorder classifications, differential diagnosis, and contemporary dimensional models.
